This is not just a statistic. The skills shortage is a major pain point for productivity and recruitment success. With an aging population, high retirement rates, insufficient reskilling and fewer children pursuing STEM subjects, we passionately believe that we must promote this burgeoning sector for our collective long term prosperity and security.

STEM Connections was founded after working in recruitment and engineering for over a decade and experiencing skills shortages every day. These shortages led to reduced productivity, increased operational costs, and higher employee turnover.
We work closely with clients to gain a deep understanding of their needs to develop a meaningful differentiated offering to secure top talent in highly competitive markets. But we also want to develop the wider STEM skills base to benefit the projects of the future and so STEM Connections was born.
